This is the source of record for What 359 million companies want from AI. Every figure in the report is reproduced here with the study it was drawn from. Compiled and published by Loom; the underlying voices are adapted from a public Anthropic study, and the usage, adoption and sentiment figures come from the named research below.

What people use AI for

Share of consumer AI usage by activity. A handful of everyday tasks — writing, studying and getting answers — dominate; coding and images stay niche.

Generative-AI adoption is lopsided by group and by region. Students are the heaviest users of all; the Global North uses AI at nearly double the rate of the Global South.

Share of US adults naming each as a top concern about AI. Job loss leads every poll, followed by over-reliance, privacy and misinformation.
