The app is free and Apache-2.0. The Conductor is bring-your-own-key across OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Groq, OpenRouter, and more, or fully local on LM Studio, MLX, or Ollama. You pay providers directly, and nothing else.

Do I need an API key?
Not for the fleet. The six Claude Code sessions use your existing Claude login. The Conductor takes any key you bring, stored only in the OS keychain, or runs on a local model with no key at all. See bring your own key.
What does it run on?
macOS, Linux, and Windows, as a native Tauri 2 and Rust desktop app with an installer around 13 MB. On Windows the terminal supports WSL per tab.
Can I hack on Loom itself?
Yes. The whole app is Apache-2.0 and public at github.com/yimingbeckmann/loom-conductor. Indie hackers improving their own tools is exactly the point.
