This is the honest version of a careers page. There are no openings, no recruiters, and no ping-pong table. There is one maker, a fleet of six Claude Code sessions, and a very public repo.
Why there are no openings
Loom Conductor exists because one person plus six parallel Claude Code sessions turned out to be a surprisingly large team. The Conductor plans the work, the fleet ships it, and verification catches what slips. That setup is the whole company, and for now it is enough.
We will not pretend otherwise with a page full of values statements and a form that goes nowhere. If that changes, this page will change. Until then, there is a better way in, and it starts working immediately.
The way in
The interview is a pull request.
Loom is Apache-2.0 and built entirely in the open. Contributors do not wait for a hiring cycle, they just show up in the commit history.
Ship something small
A theme preset, a docs fix, a sharper error message. Small, finished contributions say more than any resume. The community page lists the best starting points.
Make the bugs findable
A precise issue, with your platform, your version, and what the terminal showed, is a contribution too. Platform testing on macOS, Linux, and Windows is always wanted.
Stick around
The contributors whose names you learn are the ones who keep showing up. Open source has always worked this way, and Loom is happily unoriginal about it.
So you are really not hiring?
Really. No openings, full time or otherwise. The app is free and you pay your model providers directly, which keeps the business exactly as small as the team.
Will that ever change?
Maybe. If it does, the first people we talk to will be the ones already in the repo. That is not a platitude, it is just the only candidate pool we ever look at.
