Loom v0.7.4 is out for macOS, Linux and Windows

Capabilities

The fleet is Claude. The Conductor is yours.

Six Claude Code sessions run on your existing Claude login, no API key needed. The reasoning model that conducts them is bring your own key across 12+ providers, or fully local.

The fleet

No API key. Just your login.

The fleet is the official Claude Code CLI, six real sessions of it, not a reimplementation behind an API key. If claude runs in your terminal, the fleet runs in Loom on the same login. Add pooled accounts and Loom assigns them round-robin across the slots, parking any account that hits a usage limit and rotating to the next so the mission keeps moving. See the Claude login and account rotation.

terminal
# install the official Claude Code CLI
$ curl -fsSL https://claude.ai/install.sh | bash
# sign in once, the fleet reuses it
$ claude login

The Conductor

Any reasoning model you trust.

The Conductor is the model that turns your goal into a mission and keeps six terminals honest. Loom does not lock that choice in. Pick a provider, paste a key, switch whenever you like.

Hosted providers

Bring a key from OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, xAI, Groq, Cerebras, DeepSeek, or Mistral. The Conductor plans, dispatches, steers, and verifies with whichever model you pick.

One key, many models

Use OpenRouter to reach a whole catalog with a single key, or point Loom at any OpenAI-compatible endpoint you already run. See using OpenRouter.

Fully local

Run the Conductor on LM Studio, MLX, or Ollama. Planning happens on your machine and needs no key at all. See local Conductors.

Questions

Keys and costs, answered.

Do I need an API key to use Loom?

Only for the Conductor, and only if you choose a hosted provider. The fleet uses your existing Claude login, and a local Conductor on LM Studio, MLX, or Ollama needs no key either.

Where do my keys live?

In the OS keychain, and only there. Keys are never written to config files or stored in plain text. See security.

What does Loom itself cost?

Nothing. The app is free and Apache-2.0 open source. You pay your model providers directly, and Loom takes nothing in between. See pricing.

Hand it the work.
Walk away.

macOS, Linux, and Windows. Around 13 MB. Free and open source.
